It’s very energizing for us to see new solar entrepreneurs setting themselves up with their Lytefire equipment and asking their own communities to support them.
Each time beautiful virtuous circles are created and we, at Lytefire, love to see that! Isn’t this as well circular economy in full?
Sometimes we support artisans directly by creating a campaign to help them, (like in East Africa or in Haiti).
Sometimes they organize alone with their network and we’re happy to share in the newsletter, on our social media pages and also to financially contribute when it’s possible.
If you’re thinking of starting your solar activity with a Lytefire, here are a few campaigns ran by artisans-entrepreneurs who recently managed to kick start their activity:
Micro-brasserie Hélie, after a year of activity, they want to produce more solar beer and the campaign was on Miimosa (2024).
Au Soleil Levain and their campaign on Miimosa (2024).
Au Gré du Soleil and their campaign on Kokoriko (2023).
Aurinko with their campaign on Miimosa for solar roasting activity (2023).
NeoLoco started the solar baking and roasting activity, with a campaign as well, NeoLoco Chaleur Solaire (2019).
Also, in 2020, the Vagabonds Association raised funds to start educational solar baking projects in Normandy, France.
We also organized one small campaign in 2015 to kick start our activity (video here).
So you see, you can also do it and ask for support to your community! Cooperation is key to succeed.
