One Lytefire oven used 7 hours a day during 210 days in a year in Kenya is preventing the emission of 5 tons of CO₂ and protects 60 square meters of forest. Depending on the forest type, there are 1000 and 2500 trees per hectare, resulting in 0.1 - 0.25 trees per m².
On average that’s 1750 trees per hectare = 0.175 trees per m².
