    Installation and Maintenance:

    • Lytefire is easy to install. And we are here to guide step by step.
    • Requires a sunny flat space of at least 7 meters of diameter in which to operate with no shade
    • Easy to clean: only water and soap to clean the mirrors
    • When used and maintained properly, the Lytefire PRO has a lifetime expectation of 16 years

    Baking and cooking:

    • Using bread tins/pans improves the efficiency of baking as compared to regular bread baking. This is because the surface of the bread tin will transmit the heat quicker to the bread, and with the tins a lot more dough can be fit into the same oven as opposed placing bread loafs without tins. That being said, baguette are also very well baked in the solar oven and bread loafs as well but in smaller quantities
    • It is possible to add a base (sole) by placing it on the original grids. But by adding weight, the oven will no longer take 45min-1h to heat up but a little longer.
    • Dark pots are recommended for the cooker. No fat is leaking down to the reflector.
    • Behind the mirrors, a lever allows you to change the inclination of all the mirrors to increase or decrease the heat.

    Technical Specifications:

    • Lytefire uses only direct concentrated sun ray, no fuel costs, no electricity
    • Produces 3500 Watts of thermal energy and reaches up to 300°C (572°F)
    • Even heat distribution for high quality baking
    • No automated tracking: you need to slightly turn the Lytefire Pro every 10 mins to follow the sun
    • The combined surface of all mirrors is 5 square meters
