Education
The economy is changing from being based to infinite energy to renewable energies. These are intermittent and require adaptation. We are at the forefront of educational modules for local production and sustainable job creations for food transformation with direct solar heat.
We have developed a unique methodology and educational materials to empower youths, community, pioneer entrepreneurs, farmers, refugees or underprivileged with the equipment and skills to run their own sustainable Solar Bakeries and Roasteries.
We are also now training youth to build Lytefire locally through vocational programs.
Those most affected by climate change are the least responsible for it. Can we support these millions of people create more local wealth and stability for their environment ?
We have trained hundreds of people with Lytefire since 2016. While each Lytefire used about 200 days per year can prevent the emission of 5 tons of carbon emissions, with each training we can create a solar local bakery that generates income and food security for the most motivated trainees. For example, the Mwanza Montessori School saves 500€ per month by not having to buy bread that they now bake themselves and and on top of that, their solar ovens bring them an additional income of 260€ every month from additional sales.
Chosing Lytefire reduces the energy dependency on fossil-fuel and firewood, and as a result, removes a big part of the associated economic stress, health and climate issues. Lytefire is a non-polluting solution, easy to maintain and repair, and durable.
Without Lytefire and renewable energy, every dollar spent on energy, becomes a dollar that leaves the local economy to subsidize fossil-fuels, or that asks for trees to be cut-down.
By reducing this dependency through efficient, free solar energy, we also empower people to become more independent and wealthy in their region and reinforce their local economy. As we not only teach them entreprenership and the hands-on baking skills, they also learn how to maintain the Lytefire technology locally so that they never run out of energy. That’s possible because Lytefire was designed to be maintainable over 16 years even in rural and remote contexts with local materials. Lytefire is unique in the transformative impact it has.
