Values
We all need energy. In the form of heat, energy is everywhere around us and we all need it. That being said, did someone ever ask us if we were okay to get heat to transform our food using polluting energy?
At Lytefire, we have created different ways for you to get powerful solar heat with a tech made for entrepreneurs, farmers, schools and communities. Our core values values are Sustainability, Empowerment, Courage and Authenticity. And to check how we scale up, discover our model.
Lytefire is for entrepreneurs, artisans and communities
Just like us, you started your life taking our energy sources for granted. Either you grew up in a big city or in a rural area, with electricity or LPG, with open wood fires or gas containers. Energy was what it was, right? And for the last decades, the fights between climate skeptics, lobbies, scientists, activists and politicians have sent us many confusing messages, haven’t they?
The truth is that when it comes to heat production at a small scale, no electricity production and no pollution is required and this is what Lytefire gives you: free and clean solar heat for your business, your school, your farm, your village.
No need to wait for the next huge clean energy plan, nor the next crisis. You can start now and adapt courageously to a changing world.
In different countries and with very different contexts, many users have already chosen Lytefire as a solution to power their local activity and break free. Be one of them and join our community of pioneers and entrepreneurs everywhere in the world! People like you and like us- who have decided to not use charcoal, open fires, or electricity every time the sun shines above their heads. People willing to contribute to a livable future locally everywhere!
Environmental protection and the common good
At Lytefire, we believe that the best CO2 is the one that is not emitted. That is why each Lytefire oven installed and used is much more than an oven and has a big impact. It can protect 60㎡ of forests and avoid 5 tons of carbon emissions every year.
We believe small is beautiful. We believe in simple, local and efficient technologies that support life to reinforce the local economy everywhere and make it as much as possible powered by clean energy. It will require us to reorganize a few things in the economy, in the work organization, yes. But isn’t it better to act and adjust now rather than suffer later?
We know that people can bring changes! And we also believe that the most vulnerable populations (low income, women’s cooperatives, farmers, countryside’s schools, refugees camps) are part of the change.
Energy + Education = Knowledge and Empowerment
Because no-one can solve the social and climate crises alone, we strongly support global collaboration. That is why our model includes everyone from the DIYer ready to build in their backyard, to the NGO creating jobs and empowering women and refugees, to the entrepreneurs running bakeries, to the women’s cooperative taking a micro-loan, to the producers making Lytefire. Everyone needs to be involved in the energy transition to scale up and reshape a more just and equitable world.
Struggle with energy is also one of the roots of poverty and in sunny countries, there are so many people with great ideas and skills that are prevented from thriving because of poverty. Alleviating this burden from them is the core motivation of the founders but no one individual can alleviate poverty - it’s far too complex and widespread. However, when we combine each of our individual efforts, we can make a difference. By combining simple and robust Lytefire solar concentrators with educational training, together with our humanitarian clients and partners, we can reach the most vulnerable and break the poverty circle to create more empowerment.
