About Lytefire

Lytefire is a Finnish impact and social company founded in 2012 in Tampere, Finland.

In order to slow down global warming and deforestation, it was clear to our group of friends that people need more decentralized source of clean energy. If concentrating the solar rays wasn’t a new idea at all, all the innovations on the applications we have developped make a real difference when people could make a productive use of this clean solar heat.

Our mission has always been to spread Lytefire’s design to the places and communities where it can have the biggest impact. Sticking to a simple and powerful solar solution requiring no high-tech while keeping the humanitarian approach strong, as been a challenge in a world obsessed by profitability, speed, high-tech and growth. But we are doing it.

Lytefire is a simple, robust, durable and clean solar equipment. What started as a simple desire to support change for a better world has moved us to build a company to spread the solution everyhwere its needed. We hope to install more and more units in order to contribue to a more peaceful and stable world.

Our Team

Lytefire’s executive team is run by Eva Wissenz and Urs Riggenbach. They are both part of the original group of founders and their work is governed by the board. Lytefire’s board meet several time a year to vote on key decisions. All the members are elected yearly by our impact oriented shareholders.
