Qerchechie Town and Bobito village
"STEM Synergy, in partnership with a compassionate group of individuals originally from Wolaita who now reside in the U.S., has successfully installed two additional solar-powered bakery units in Dugna Fango Woreda (Dugna Kindo Kebele), specifically in Qerchechie Town and Bobito village. These installations mark the third solar bakery units introduced in the area, revolutionizing lives by fostering sustainable energy solutions and supporting local entrepreneurial initiatives. This effort aligns with our mission to drive technology transfer and empower youth and women-led social enterprises. By adopting solar technology, these bakeries are cutting costs, enhancing productivity, and fueling economic development within the community."
