Lytefire's newsletter is the best way to receive our updates. It's once a month. To subscribe, leave your name and email.
At Lytefire we’ve tirelessly worked towards supporting a different energy system that does not rely on complex supply chains and technologies. It is 100% adapted to a decentralized local economy, to support and reinforce the local strengths.
🌞 The sun shines everywhere, why can’t people access the sun’s power cheaply, locally, for their energy needs? If you wish to support our efforts for a better future, please consider joining our ongoing campaign on Ulule.

Our situation is completely unsustainable. Scientists say it and common sense has caught up: We must stop fossil fuel dependence and carbon emissions.
But HOW? Lytefire is proposing something tangible. We didn’t choose fossil fuels. That choice was made for us, by history to keep it short, and we are all to bear the consequences of that. A system depending on oil, burning oil in every industry, invisible when we buy a broccoli or a smartphone. Invisible, but more and more, thanks to climate change, felt, acknowledged. But not acted upon!
Lytefire is a powerful solution to many. Support our effort to exit fossil fuels as much as possible. Join us on our ongoing campaign for more freedom!

Lytefire on TV in Uganda:
News coverage on our Lytefire project with World Vision and Amelo Technical Institute.
"[The project] is expected to enhance practical skills, improve school feeding, reduce cooking costs, and generate income through commercial baking"
A few units have been recently installed in a vocational school in Uganda.
The project is to equip the school’s kitchen and for the school to generate a bit of additional revenue.
Here is what the principal’s says:
“Beyond skills development, the solar baking oven will support our school feeding programme by providing a clean and sustainable way of preparing meals for students. It will also expose trainees to modern renewable energy technologies that are increasingly relevant in today’s labour market,” Dr Akol.
"Amelo Technical Institute, a government-owned vocational training institution in Adjumani District, has received a Lytefire Solar Baking Oven and Solar Boiler in a move aimed at promoting renewable energy skills, improving school feeding programmes, and supporting sustainable livelihoods."
