Solarstart is a Swiss non-profit association that is spreading awareness of the potential of solar thermal energy. They have been organizing events in partnership with Heuberge Mountain Resort to educate youths and families on the big potential of solar energy through solar pizza baking events. In the events, the children learn about solar energy bake pizza together with their parents and have a great, sustainable experience.
Furthermore, they are supporting solar entrepreneurs in lower income countries. In 2022 Solarstart helped promote the crowdfunding campaign to support three entrepreneurs to get a Lytefire. They had the chance to present the association and the campaign at Kiwanis Bern-Felsenau.
In the future they want to support more entrepreneurs and help people gain awareness for the potential of solar energy and a sustainable future.
